Welcome to IDT-14
We are delighted to announce the 6th KES International Conference on Intelligent Decision Technologies, IDT-2014, to take place in Channia, Greece.
The field of intelligent decision technologies is interdisciplinary in nature, bridging computer science with its development of artificial intelligence, information systems with its development of decision support systems, and engineering with its development of systems.
The conference will consist of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, invited sessions and workshops, on the applications and theory of intelligent decision systems and related areas. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results and discussion about them, leading to knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas.
IDT-14 will be colocated with AMSTA-14, IIMSS-14, and STET-14 as part of the Smart Digital Futures multi-theme conference.
Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published by
IOS Press
as book chapters in the
Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) series, submitted for abstracting/indexing

Authors of selected papers presented at the conference may be invited to submit an extended and enhanced version for publication in the Springer KES Smart Innovation Systems and Technologies series (TBC).
The Venue
The conference will take place at the Akali Hotel in Chania on the island of Crete in Greece.
Chania is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece and thought by many to be the most picturesque in Greece. Chania is a bustling city with both old and modern sections famed for the Venetian Harbour, the old port, the narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants.
